About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Content Writer Intern with a strong interest in psychology, mental health, or a related field, who also possesses excellent writing and research skills. This role is perfect for someone looking to bridge their knowledge of mental health with content creation and digital marketing.
As a Content Writer Intern, you will play a key role in producing content that resonates with mental health professionals and their clients. You will be responsible for conducting thorough research into industry-relevant keywords and trending topics, and creating blogs, articles, and other content that aligns with uMore's mission to improve mental health care through technology.
Start Date: October 16, 2024
Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research: Identify and research relevant keywords and trending topics within the mental health and digital health industries to guide content creation.
- Content Creation: Write and edit blog posts, articles, and other content pieces that combine your knowledge of mental health with effective SEO strategies.
- SEO Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines to increase visibility and drive organic traffic to uMore’s website.
- Content Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that attract, engage, and retain our target audience.
- Industry Research: Stay informed on trends in psychology, mental health, and digital health, and incorporate relevant insights into content that informs and educates readers.
- Content Calendar: Assist in planning and maintaining a content calendar that supports marketing initiatives with timely and relevant content.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in Psychology, Counseling, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A strong background or interest in mental health or psychology is essential.
- Excellent writing, editing, and research skills with a focus on mental health topics.
- Basic understanding of SEO and keyword optimization.
- Passion for communicating mental health concepts in an engaging, accessible way.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
- Prior experience in content writing, blogging, or content marketing is a plus.
