Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Product Engineering Intern with a strong focus on backend development and a keen interest in Large Language Models (LLMs). As an intern, you will collaborate with our engineering team to enhance our AI-driven backend systems, build scalable infrastructure, and integrate LLM capabilities into our product. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, primarily using Python and FastAPI.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and integrate LLMs into our existing architecture.
• Assist in building API endpoints and managing data flow between various microservices and external systems.
• Work with cloud services (AWS, GCP) to deploy and monitor AI-driven applications.
• Contribute to the development of workflows and state machines for LLM-driven automation.
• Write and maintain clear, concise documentation of code and processes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience with Python and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Interest in and some experience with LLMs, NLP, or related AI fields.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORMs like SQLAlchemy.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with AI model deployment, fine-tuning, and API integration.
• Exposure to serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Run).
