Senior Full Stack Developer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Full Stack Engineer to strengthen our team. You should be based in Berlin and have a solid understanding of web development from the This role is crucial for ensuring that our data-driven solutions effectively support our mission to simplify and accelerate carbon management for mid-sized companies globally.

‍As part of our data platform team, you will:

• Develop and maintain our backend architecture and data pipelines.
• Work collaboratively with product managers and engineers to build a world-class data platform.
• Shape the product's core data capabilities and influence its strategic direction.

The ideal candidate has… (the more you have, the better, but you don’t need it all)

• 5+ years of experience handling large volumes of data in a production environment
• Proficiency with TypeScript - React and nodeJS. Bonus if you also know python.
• Experience with web frameworks - we use NestJS and ORMs.
• Familiarity with AWS. Bonus if you can do some DevOps, CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Openness to admitting knowledge gaps and trying new approaches.
• Professional-level English and eligibility to work in Germany.
• Understanding of scalable databases and data pipelines in a cloud environment.
