Leaping AI is building hyperrealistic voice AI agents to help people over the phone.

Signing our first customer in January 2024, we are now handling tens of thousands of calls daily. We are a small (you’ll be an employee #4), high-performing team combining top-grade industry experience of creating cutting-edge ML technologies in Microsoft OpenAI, AWS, IBM research and latest research insights from top university labs.

The job

You will be working directly with CTO and Chief Scientist, rapidly iterating across the tech stack: core AI, worldwide distributed high-availability voice servers, and user interface. We are looking for highly driven individuals who can bring their own unique perspective.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement amazing looking AI-Powered features and user experiences
• Work on the voice AI agent designer web platform (Next.js)
• Bring improvements to the voice server (async Python)
• Work in close proximity to cutting-edge LLM technologies
• Maintain and extend telephony infrastructure (WebRTC, websockets, SIP)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL database management
• An eye for aesthetics, practical attention to detail, and an understanding of basic design principles (contrast, hierarchy, layout)
• Experience in startups, willingness to move fast and prioritize business objectives
• Preferred: experience with Twilio, Azure, Supabase, WebRTC, and SIP
• DevOps skills (Docker, Terraform, IaC, CI/CD)
