We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Marketing with a strong multi-channel marketing background to lead our marketing strategy and execution. As VP of Marketing, you will oversee the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns, with a key focus on leveraging digital channels to drive growth, brand visibility, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing leader with a proven track record of success in sales-driven start-up environments, deep expertise in data-driven strategies, and the ability to manage high-performing teams.
You will:
- Define and lead the overall marketing strategy, with a special focus on digital and product marketing initiatives, to achieve business objectives including revenue growth, customer acquisition, and brand positioning.
- Spearhead the marketing strategy across all channels, including in person events, email marketing, paid media, social media, content marketing, and marketing automation.
- Lead performance-driven marketing initiatives, focusing on ROI optimization, customer acquisition cost (CAC) reduction, and lifetime value (LTV) improvement across all digital touchpoints.
- Oversee the development of a cohesive brand strategy that resonates with target audiences, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all platforms, including digital and traditional channels.
- Utilize data-driven insights to guide decision-making, measure marketing performance, and refine strategies. Establish KPIs, track campaign performance, and provide reporting to executive leadership.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Ensure that marketing strategies are fully integrated with broader marketing initiatives, including content marketing, events, product marketing, and PR efforts.
- Stay ahead of emerging marketing technologies and trends. Drive innovation and continuous improvement through the use of cutting-edge tools, platforms, and strategies.
- Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact. Optimize spend across digital channels to drive measurable growth.
- Work closely with Product, Sales, and Executive teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with product development, customer success, and overall business goals.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and digital platforms, ensuring they deliver on performance objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field required. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in marketing leadership roles. Experience in a fast-paced enterprise SaaS and/or professional services marketplace environment. Experience in the legal industry is a plus.
- Understanding of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, marketing automation, paid media, and data analytics.
- Strong ability to analyze data, derive insights, and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics. Experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, or similar platforms is essential.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results. Experience managing cross-functional teams is required.
- Ability to develop long-term marketing strategies while maintaining a strong focus on execution and operational excellence.
- Proven track record of working closely with executive teams, product, and sales functions to align marketing efforts with overall company objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present marketing strategies and performance reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a passion for staying on top of the latest trends in digital marketing and emerging technologies.
