Job description summary:Oversee corporate governance practices and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirementsOrganise and manage board meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutionsDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the businessLiaise with external advisors and vendors as necessaryAssist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and proceduresTrain and educate staff on legal and compliance matters as needed

In your day-to-day role you will:As an Associate Manager - Secretarial & Legal, your day involves overseeing corporate governance practices, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining minutes and records of meetings, organising board meetings, and handling the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts. Additionally, you will be required to conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and collaborate with external advisors and vendors when necessary.

What do you need to bring?Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) along with Company Secretary (CS) qualification4+ years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in a large corporation within the financial or technology sectorIn-depth knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI RegulationsStrong understanding of corporate governance practices and legal complianceAbility to work under pressureStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work at all levels within the organisationFlexible and practical approach to workExcellent drafting and communication skills
