The opportunity:
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Amazon Media Strategist to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Amazon Advertising campaigns for our clients. This role blends client relationship management with deep technical expertise across all Amazon Ads formats, ensuring successful project delivery and maximizing ROI. You will be a key point of contact for clients, guiding them through the complexities of Amazon's advertising ecosystem and driving growth for their businesses.
What you’ll be doing:
Client & Project Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business objectives.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and media plans, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Proactively communicate project status, performance updates, and key insights to clients.
- Gather client feedback and incorporate it into campaign strategies and optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, retail, data) and external client teams (marketing, e-commerce, branding) to ensure alignment and integrated brand experiences.
Amazon Ads Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive Amazon Advertising strategies tailored to each client's specific goals and target audience.
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of all Amazon Ads formats, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP.
- Conduct in-depth category research, competitive analysis, and keyword research to identify opportunities and optimize campaign performance.
Technical Expertise & Optimization:
- Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI, focusing on key metrics such as long term ROI, New-to-Brand and conversion rates.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Amazon Ads features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Proactively identify and implement new strategies and tactics to improve campaign performance.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to clients, guiding their decision-making and ensuring campaign success.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular performance reports and business reviews to clients, summarizing key achievements, challenges, and future strategies.
- Utilize data visualization techniques to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Elaborate actionable insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate the value of our services.
What we want from you:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Using data and metrics to measure impact, determine improvements and identify opportunities for clients’ growth and new services
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Managing complex Amazon Ads (or any similar platforms) campaigns with various of targeting options for international marketplaces, any further experience in Retail Media is a plus
- Ability to work in a collaborative team with multicultural personalities
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and still maintain the focus and be able to prioritize among the upcoming tasks
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, marketing, mathematics, computer science is preferred
- Hands-on experience in planning and managing Amazon Sponsored Ads and Programmatic Ads
- Experience in client or account management
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication in English, any further language is a plus
- EU working permit
