We are building Airena, a revolutionary platform designed to bring together the Indian gaming, sports, and content creator communities. Our platform creates a unique ecosystem where gaming enthusiasts, fans, and brands can seamlessly connect through live streaming, interactive content, and real-time shopping. We aim to empower gamers, content creators, and brands to engage meaningfully with their audiences and drive e-commerce conversions in real-time.

As we scale, we are looking for a dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and execute the marketing vision for the platform. This is an equity-based position, offering a significant stake in the company and the opportunity to spearhead the marketing strategy that will take Airena to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Plan and oversee marketing initiatives across digital channels (social media, SEO, content marketing, influencer marketing, paid advertising) to drive platform growth and awareness.
Lead the launch strategy for Airena, ensuring a successful and high-impact product introduction to the Indian market.
Build and manage the brand image, establishing Airena as a key player in the gaming, sports, and e-commerce spaces.
Define go-to-market strategies for the platform’s features, such as live streaming, shoppable video, and real-time brand engagement.

Growth & User Acquisition:

Lead the charge in acquiring the first 1M users for the platform through innovative marketing campaigns.
Develop partnerships with gaming communities, influencers, and sports organizations to drive organic growth.
Manage paid media budgets and performance marketing strategies to optimize user acquisition cost (CAC) and maximize ROI.

Brand Partnerships & Sponsorships:

Establish strategic partnerships with brands, sports teams, gaming influencers, and e-commerce players to enhance Airena's credibility and user engagement.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop sponsorship packages for brands looking to leverage Airena’s audience.
Utilize data and insights to create compelling sales pitches and marketing proposals for potential partners.

Community Building:

Develop and nurture Airena’s community of gamers, content creators, and sports enthusiasts by creating engaging content and interactive experiences.
Implement social media strategies that foster a strong sense of community and increase user engagement.
Oversee communication strategies to keep the user base informed, motivated, and excited about new features, events, and collaborations.

Data-Driven Marketing:

Build a data-driven marketing function that consistently analyzes user behavior, engagement metrics, and campaign performance to make informed decisions.
Develop and track key marketing KPIs, including CAC, LTV (lifetime value), customer retention rate, and brand sentiment.
Lead the creation and management of a real-time analytics dashboard to monitor marketing and sales performance.

Team Building & Leadership:

Build and manage a world-class marketing team, including specialists in content, SEO, social media, growth hacking, and paid media.
Collaborate closely with other departments such as product, technology, and business development to ensure alignment across the company.
Mentor and lead a team of marketers to develop innovative campaigns and strategies that will fuel growth.

Qualifications:
Experience: 7+ years of experience in a senior marketing role, ideally with experience in gaming, sports, content creation, or e-commerce industries. Startup or entrepreneurial experience is a huge plus.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in scaling user bases, driving growth, and managing digital marketing budgets effectively.
Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of all facets of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, influencer marketing, content marketing, and performance marketing.
Partnership Development: Experience building partnerships with brands, influencers, and content creators to drive growth.
Data-Driven: Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data to optimize campaigns, user acquisition, and marketing spend.
Community Engagement: Experience with community-building strategies, particularly within the gaming or sports sectors, and fostering brand loyalty.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a marketing team and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
Passion for Gaming and Sports: A deep understanding of the gaming and sports communities, as well as trends in live streaming, influencer marketing, and e-commerce.

Compensation:
Equity-Based: This is a co-founder-level position with significant equity in the company.
