Job Summary:
As a Senior Leader for our business in Taiwan, you will spearhead the strategy to launch our third-party (3P) marketplace business. In this pivotal role, you will establish a world-class marketplace organization, cultivate robust relationships with third-party sellers, oversee marketplace operations, and drive revenue growth through exceptional customer experiences. You will also lead a product and demand organization of 150+ team members. This position offers a unique opportunity to build a multi-billion dollar business from the ground up and make a significant impact on Coupang’s expansion in Taiwan.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of Coupang’s 3P business in Taiwan, directly overseeing the demand team (sales) and product function. Define and implement processes for seller onboarding, category expansion, and operational excellence.
- Build a best-in-class team that identifies, recruits, and onboards sellers that align with Coupang’s customer-centric approach. Foster strong, long-term partnerships to drive sustainable growth.
- Optimize marketplace performance through data-driven insights, ensuring that the 3P platform delivers high-quality service, competitive pricing, and exceptional customer experiences.
- Partner with a number of central teams, including engineering, operations, marketing, and legal, to build scalable systems and processes that support localisation and growth. Collaborate to create seamless integrations between sellers and Coupang’s platform.
- Own and manage P&L for the 3P business in Taiwan. Define revenue targets, monitor key performance indicators, and implement strategies to drive growth.
- Ensure that 3P operations deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction, continuously improving the selection, pricing, and fulfillment experience for Taiwan-based customers.

Essential Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, distribution, or related fields, with a proven track record of growing a 3P or similar marketplace business to scale.
- Competitive spirit with a proven track record of leading product and demand teams directly.
- Experience in Taiwan’s e-commerce market, including knowledge of local seller ecosystems, retail, and regulatory landscape.
- Significant knowledge of logistics and fulfillment processes in the context of third-party marketplace operations.
- A proven ability to negotiate and build lasting partnerships with third-party sellers and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including experience managing cross-functional teams and leading complex initiatives in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive business decisions.
