We’re looking for a BDR who is ready to help us take on that challenge.
Distribution in the United States is a multi-trillion dollar business but the ugly reality is that if you need your core software (your ERP!) to be fast, user friendly, or insightful, you’re screwed.
Existing ERP software is technologically limited, difficult to learn and use, and has been stuck in the 90s. If you’ve ever heard of SAP, Oracle, or Epicor – to name a few – and wondered what they do, you can now know them as the creators of these ERPs.
This pain is our Recurrency opportunity!
We need killer talent to scale our platform to thousands of distributors and millions of SKUs across the country. We’re hoping you see a game changer here, we certainly do. There aren’t many categories that can support multiple hundred billion dollar companies, but distribution is one of them.
Job Description:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) on our Sales team, you will prospect, qualify, and generate customer interest to assist in Recurrency’s overall business growth. BDRs have the opportunity to grow their careers in our Sales team and continue contributing to Recurrency team success.
We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure Recurrency can create a work-life harmony that best fits you.
What You’ll Do:
- Research and understand the distribution industry
- Organize and implement strategies for acquiring new business
- Conduct outbound outreach by cold calling and emailing prospective customers
- Work with our AEs, Sales Leadership, and Operations team.
Who You Are:
- Organized
- Able to show up on time every day
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Emotionally able to talk to strangers and deal with rejection
- Excited about a career in Sales and Customer Facing engagement
