What you'll be doing
• Developing and launching new features, integrating Generative AI into existing products and services.
• Collaborating with technical stakeholders to define best practices for Generative AI development, aiming to scale these practices across the engineering team.
• Fostering a learning culture that encourages rapid experimentation and adoption of new technologies.
• Ensuring your work and your team's meets high-quality standards by improving testing tools and processes for sustainable development.
• Partnering with Product, Design, Platform, Architecture, and Security teams to develop scalable, secure solutions that are fit for purpose.
• Keeping up with industry trends and advancements in Generative AI.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of commercial development experience with the capacity to mentor junior developers and explain complex concepts.
• Proven history of creating products and features from scratch and seeing them through to production.
• Experience with large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Strong communication, inclusivity, and visibility skills.
• Proficiency in .NET framework 4.6+ / .NET 6+, Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, XML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Git.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes.
• Strong interest or exposure to Generative AI technologies
