We are seeking an ML Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team.

Internship Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic ML Engineer Intern who is passionate about AI and Machine Learning. In this role, you will be working on the creation and testing of prompts for large language models (LLMs), preparing and refining training datasets, and listening to and analyzing voice AI call recordings for quality assurance and bug reporting. This hands-on position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience with cutting-edge AI technologies while contributing to impactful projects.

Location

Bengaluru preferred, but remote is an option.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audio Data Processing: Develop and optimize models for audio processing tasks such as speech recognition (STT) and speech synthesis (TTS). Work on enhancing audio data quality, including noise reduction and audio latency.
• Language Models: Implement and fine-tune language models (LLMs) including data preparation & Collaborate on integrating language models with audio processing systems for end-to-end solutions.
• Model Development & Deployment: Train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models using deep learning frameworks. Optimise model performance and scalability for production environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and data scientists, to deliver high-quality AI solutions. Participate in code reviews, model evaluations, and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field (current students or recent graduates are also welcome).
• Experience in machine learning, particularly with audio data (e.g., speech recognition, TTS, audio).
• Experience with training & development of large language models.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, DSPy).
• Experience with audio processing libraries (e.g., Librosa, ) and NLP tools (e.g., Hugging Face).
• Understanding of encoder-decoder architectures with different modalities.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for AI and a keen interest in developing innovative solutions.
