ButFor is a rapidly growing insurtech company offering a revolutionary insurance subscription as a service (iSaaS) platform – ButFor Subscription. We're looking for a motivated and results-oriented Commercial Insurance Sales Professional to join our remote team and sell our subscription service to businesses currently lacking business interruption (BI) claim preparation coverage.
What You'll Do:
Identify and prospect for businesses across various industries who are vulnerable due to a lack of dedicated BI claim preparation coverage in their existing insurance policy.
Educate potential clients on the risks associated with inadequate BI claim preparation and the benefits of ButFor Subscription.
Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies.
Conduct needs assessments to fully understand client requirements and customize solution proposals.
Negotiate and close high-value sales deals on a commission-only basis.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build a strong network of insurance professionals and brokers for referral opportunities.
Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on industry trends and ButFor Subscription updates.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum of 6 mo. of experience in commercial insurance sales (a plus).
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Deep understanding of business insurance products, particularly business interruption coverage.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Experience with CRM software is preferred.

Network of existing relationships within the insurance and business communities.
Knowledge of the claim preparation process for business interruption claims.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by businesses in the event of a disruption.

We pay per meeting booked, per deal closed plus bonus if targets hit. This is a 1099 role that can be done in conjunction with another role, or whenever you want extra income.
