Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Development Representative / Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for both our software platform and consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability and technology, and a proven track record in sales within the SaaS or tech consulting sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through strategic outreach to potential clients, including cold calling, email campaigns.
- Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in target industries to promote the benefits of our sustainability platform and consulting services.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation campaigns.
- Manage and nurture leads from initial contact through to qualification, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Schedule and conduct platform demonstrations, and coordinate meetings between prospective clients and our consulting team.
- Collaborate with the product and consulting teams to enhance understanding of market needs and to provide feedback from potential clients.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in software sales (SaaS) or environmental/technology consulting.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics, with the ability to effectively negotiate and close deals.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passionate about sustainability and technology.
