Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and manage sales tax filings.
• Handle various ad hoc tasks and ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain compliance with US accounting and tax regulations.
• Help enhance our internal processes and workflows.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Accounting Experience: You have a solid background in accounting and managing sales tax.
• Tech Proficiency: You’re skilled in using Xero, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel functions (Pivot tables, Array Formulas).
• Language Proficiency: !!! GERMAN-SPEAKER !!! is highly preferred, with fluent English an ABSOLUTE MUST.
• Eager to Learn: You’re ready to grow and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Problem Solver: You excel at critical thinking and finding solutions to complex problems.
• Time Management Expert: You can juggle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines effectively.

Basic Requirements

• valid US Work Authorization
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with accounting concepts & software handling large data sets.
• Proven experience in accounting and tax filing.
• Familiarity with e-commerce and software tools like A2X, TaxJar, Suralink is a bonus.
