Job Description:
As the Regulatory Compliance Advisor, you will navigate global crypto regulations, ensuring the project adheres to all relevant laws, including AML/KYC, taxation, and securities laws across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with legal teams to implement effective compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor global regulatory developments in blockchain and cryptocurrency to advise on necessary actions.
Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance framework for multiple jurisdictions.
Ensure the company's operations adhere to AML/KYC standards, data privacy laws, and securities regulations.
Collaborate with legal teams to draft internal policies and compliance documents.
Provide strategic advice to leadership on managing regulatory risks and compliance challenges.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in compliance, legal affairs, or risk management, ideally in the blockchain or fintech sector.
Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations, securities law, and blockchain regulations.
Proven experience in navigating complex regulatory landscapes in multiple regions.
Legal background is preferred but not required.
