RecargaPay is changing the way both banked and unbanked Brazilians make their everyday payments and access their financial services.
Responsibilities
- Establishes the team's objectives and project goals, ensuring alignment with the company's broader objectives.
- Supervises and leads a team of engineers, ensuring that project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Actively involved in recruiting, training and developing team members, fostering a productive and growth-oriented environment.
- Collaborates with other technical leaders to align technology strategies with company objectives, contributing to the overall technical direction.
- Effective in defining and achieving clear team objectives and project milestones.
- Leadership in guiding the team to successful project delivery, within time and budget constraints.
- Success in recruiting, mentoring and developing engineering talent within the team.
- Contributing to the alignment of technology strategies with wider company objectives.
Requirements
Degree/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines;
Experience in team leadership;
A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management and development best practices;
Knowledge of Domain Oriented Design.
Knowledge of microservices architecture is an advantage;
Proven ability to design complex distributed applications designed for high performance and throughput, while being scalable and reliable;
Development experience using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka and AWS;
Experience with asynchronous programming;
Proven experience in profiling and performance tuning Java applications and using monitoring tools to monitor production applications.
