Role Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to join our team and work closely with our Co-founders to drive growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of an AI startup poised for exponential growth. You will work alongside a talented and passionate team, leveraging our differentiated data, cutting-edge technology, and an established customer base to expand our market presence and revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Statt's mission and growth objectives.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting key accounts and strategic partnerships.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and maximize customer lifetime value.
Drive the adoption and evangelization of Stattchat, our AI policy chatbot assistant, among existing and potential clients.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across various industries and sectors.
Continuously optimize sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the executive team and board of directors.
Requirements:
Proven track record of success in leading and scaling sales teams, preferably in the SaaS or policy intelligence space.
Strong understanding of the policy landscape and the unique needs of organizations operating in this domain.
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to drive sales strategies and decision-making.
Passion for innovation, with a keen interest in AI and its potential to transform the policy and regulatory industry.
Bachelor's degree required.
