Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Social Media Manager who is well-versed in the latest trends, algorithm updates, and platform-specific nuances. The ideal candidate will understand the dynamic landscape of social media, leveraging this knowledge to develop and implement cutting-edge strategies that meet both B2B and B2C client needs. The candidate will focus on managing social media presence, curating content, analyzing performance, and delivering actionable reports, while ensuring the brand stays competitive and relevant. Content creation (design or video) is not required, but creating effective strategies is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Trend & Algorithm Expertise
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, platform updates, and emerging tools. Adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement based on these updates.Strategic Social Media Planning
Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business goals and target both B2B and B2C audiences. Ensure that campaigns stay ahead of competitors by incorporating real-time trends.Platform-Specific Content Management
Oversee the management of content across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube), ensuring content is tailored to platform-specific best practices.Reporting & Analytics
Analyze and report on social media performance using tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or native platform insights. Generate comprehensive, data-driven social media reports that provide insights and strategic recommendations.Scheduling & Publishing Tools
Use scheduling and publishing platforms to manage content distribution, ensuring consistency and alignment with content calendars.Client-Centered Strategy
Work closely with clients to understand their social media goals and tailor campaigns to their needs. Build social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.Community Engagement & Reputation Management
Engage with social media communities to foster interaction, resolve concerns, and manage the brand’s online reputation. Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and feedback.Campaign Performance Tracking
Monitor and measure the performance of social media campaigns, making necessary adjustments in real-time to enhance outcomes and meet KPIs.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to ensure social media strategies complement broader marketing campaigns. Maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager (2+ years)
Deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and platform updates
Expertise in using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social
Strong social media reporting skills, with the ability to create data-driven reports and derive actionable insights
Experience in crafting B2B and B2C social media strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to develop engaging social media stories and content strategies
Strong knowledge of audience targeting, platform-specific nuances, and algorithm-driven strategies
Skilled in community management and online reputation handling
Analytical mindset with experience in interpreting social media metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with social media advertising (paid campaigns) and content performance monitoring
Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
Understanding of how SEO impacts social media strategy
