Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team. As a lead in user experience design, you will play a critical role in shaping the user interfaces and experiences across our AI software solutions. You will guide a team of designers through the entire design process, from early-stage discovery to final handoff to engineering. Your deep understanding of industrial clients’ needs will ensure the delivery of user-centered designs that improve usability, drive engagement, and align with our brand vision.
You Will:
- Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a collaborative, creative environment.
- Drive the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure a seamless handoff and implementation.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design solutions.
- Create and maintain design systems and component libraries using Figma, ensuring consistency across all products.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and maintain a high-quality user experience.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization, influencing product strategy and roadmaps.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously refining the design process.
You'll Have:
- 7+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX design across multiple platforms (web and mobile).
- Proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration.
- Experience designing for industrial clients (defense, oil and gas, renewables, aerospace, or supply chain) is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies, including user research, wireframing, and usability testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams to ensure high-fidelity designs meet the user's neeeds.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Pay Range: $110,000 - $165,000 base salary. Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
