About You
We are looking for driven and passionate individuals to join our expanding sales team and play a key role in our mission to support schools and students across California.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be at the forefront of our proven lead generation efforts. Your role will involve reaching out to prospective clients, building relationships with school districts, and helping to drive our growth in California. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, education, and making an impact. Bonus if you have experience selling into the education sector and be ready to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads through outbound efforts (email, phone calls, social media)
- Research and target school districts and other education-related organizations across California
- Attend industry conferences, events, and meetings to represent the company and build relationships
- Schedule and conduct initial meetings with prospective clients
- Work closely with the sales team to transition qualified leads into the sales pipeline
- Maintain detailed records of interactions with prospects in our CRM (Hubspot)
- Stay up-to-date on trends in education and mental health services to effectively communicate our value proposition
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, with a preference for experience in education sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Hubspot) and lead-generation tools
- Must be based in California and available to visit prospects in person
- Ability to travel within the state as required
