We are developing practice management software that integrates seamlessly into a health system's EHR, designed to optimize operational efficiency. Our product is approaching the prototype stage, and we are excited to partner with our first health clinic to begin testing. Although still a side hustle for our team, we are driven by our mission and are eager to scale.

Position Overview:
Palisaid is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with frontend development expertise to help build our practice management platform. You will work closely with our agile team to deliver a seamless user experience that meets the healthcare industry’s unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in an agile environment to develop frontend features and integrations.
• Develop new features and fix bugs in the Next.js framework (React, typescript, tailwind css, and Node.js) and REST APIs to enhance our platform’s functionality.
• Utilize tools like JIRA/Confluence to track progress and document workflows.
• Implement HL7/FHIR integrations to ensure seamless data exchange with EHR systems.
• Maintain an understanding of HIPAA compliance and security best practices.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsiveness using HTML, CSS, JSON, and XML.
• Communicate effectively with the team, sharing insights and progress during sprints.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of frontend development experience.
• Proficiency in Next.js, React, Node.js, typescript and building REST APIs.
• Familiarity with agile development and tools like JIRA/Confluence.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and HL7/FHIR integrations.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance basics.
• Willing to commit at least 15 hours per week.
