🥷 Role

What you will do

As an early engineer, you will be an integral part of everything engineering, from product development to setting up infrastructure to testing. You will:

• Interface with the founders, customers and expert industry advisors to get deep product and industry understanding
• Drive product - you will have [true] ownership and ship high impact features end-to-end
• Manage our infrastructure footprint and proactively look for optimizations across the stack
• Leverage AI/ML to optimize and augment workflows throughout the product

What you will bring

• Self-starter mentality - at a seed-stage company like Ultralight, you’ll have to wear a lot of hats and move fast and independently
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience on fast-paced teams
• Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern, full stack engineering and an ability to pick up skills quickly

Also, while not required, experience as an engineer at an early stage venture-backed startup is highly desirable.
