Your Role
The Head of Amazon will lead O Positiv’s Amazon sales channel globally. This role will be responsible for the Amazon P&L, driving annual sales and margin growth, business planning, advertising / marketing, forecasting, reporting and analytics, business operations, relationship management, and team management. The ideal candidate will be an experienced strategic Amazon marketplace and e-commerce leader with a proven track record of success on Amazon within large profitable omnichannel CPG brands. This person will be a strategic, structured thinker, analytical, detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, an effective communicator, an exceptional cross-functional collaborator, and an inspirational leader. This role reports directly to the CCO (ex-Bain) and will work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
- P&L ownership: Lead O Positiv’s Amazon P&L and drive strong sustainable revenue and margin growth in multiple geographies.
- Business planning and execution: Define and achieve ambitious growth targets through the design and implementation of effective advertising / digital marketing, promotional, creative / listing, and assortment plans, initiatives, capabilities, and processes.
- Business operations: Manage all Amazon related business operations including inventory planning, cost optimization, CX, listing management, account health, and other relevant business operations special projects.
- Product launches: Plan and execute high quality on time product launches on Amazon by effectively managing the end-to-end Amazon product launch process and coordinating cross-functionally with other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Demand forecasting: Lead Amazon demand forecasting, developing accurate scenarios in collaboration with other internal functions and iterate these as demand and supply conditions evolve.
- Reporting and analytics: Provide high quality reporting and analytics in conjunction with O Positiv’s Data & Analytics team on key Amazon performance metrics, identify impactful insights, and convert these into material performance improvements and growth.
- Relationship management: Develop strong collaborative relationships with all relevant stakeholders including O Positiv’s Amazon ad agency, Amazon contacts (e.g., CSMs), and other internal O Positiv f functions (Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Retail, Ops, etc.)
- Team building and leadership: Develop, mentor, and retain a exceptionally high performing Amazon team by providing leadership, support, and motivation to the team members.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in Amazon, e-commerce and / or other online marketplaces
- Experience building and leading the P&L for a profitable $100M+ global 3P Amazon business for multiple years
- Experience in CPG and in in vitamins / supplements, OTC, and personal care strongly preferred
- Experience working with both external Amazon ad agencies and internal Amazon teams
- Experience working in an omnichannel company (DTC, Amazon, Retail)

Hours and Compensation
- Job Type: Full-time
- Compensation: $180,000 - $240,000 plus bonus and equity
- Position based in our office in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, CA (Mon-Thu in office and Fridays remote)
