The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our fraud prevention team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of jobs processed for our partners. This role involves monitoring and evaluating data entry processes, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to enhance data quality. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity.
This is a chance to make a big impact in a growth stage company. This role reports directly to the Fraud Prevention Operations Manager.
What the role involves
Quality Control: This is the main function of the role.
- Conducting daily audits of jobs processed by the fraud prevention team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to the business rules and in compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate data entry errors or inconsistencies and flagging these with the Fraud Prevention Operations Manager.
- Identify errors and inconsistencies in data entries and collaborate with the fraud prevention team to rectify them promptly.
Training & Support:
- Deliver training and provide guidance to the fraud prevention team on areas of improvement and best practices to achieve better data accuracy and improve partner satisfaction.
- Create and maintain training materials related to data entry processes and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain QA checklists and guidelines for the fraud prevention team
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze data for trends, inconsistencies, and potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to implement corrective actions for data errors.
- Generate and present regular reports on data quality metrics and audit findings.
- Prepare and present QA reports to management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve data entry processes and reduce error rates.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new data entry tools and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and integrate them into the team’s workflow.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working as a quality analyst within a data entry environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a pro-active commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data wrangling using tools like Excel/ Google Spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with data management software and tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of Arabic/ Amharic is also a plus
