What you’ll do

Our API service layer is written in Go following a documentation first mindset. We use a service oriented architecture to enable extensive unit-testing with generated mocks. Our services are deployed via a CI/CD pipeline to our AWS cloud environments.

In your role, you will be working within our team to design and implement new features. You will be expected to improve the code quality and provide well tested functionality that the business can depend on for success.

We follow a hybrid working pattern of 2 days at home (Monday/Friday) and 3 days in the office (Tuesday/ Wednesday/Thursday). We also offer the additional flexibility of 18 Work From Anywhere days to cater for those occasions when you need to work from somewhere other than the office.

Examples of desirable skill, knowledge and experience

• Great recent experience successfully using Go in a cloud environment
• Excellent programming skills, with experience writing very high-quality and low-complexity code with thorough documentation.
• Strong experience writing easily-testable and thoroughly-tested code (e.g. using dependency injection with the right abstractions)
• Empathetic, proactive and constructive communication skills, verbal and written

In return for your contribution we offer a base salary of £75,000 - £95,000 DOE + benefits
