ROLE

In this prestigious Chief Executive Officer (CEO) role, you will report to the business owner, managing 5 direct reports, overseeing a headcount of circa 30 staff. Working closely with the leadership team from Birmingham headquarters, to protect and grow the business, in line with the company mission and vision.

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Conveying a clear company vision and mission at all times
Strategic growth planning and implementation
Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators across the business
Ensuring optimal process, policies, systems and people are in place for growth
Leading and inspiring staff to empower them to achieve company growth objectives
Identifying and pursuing profitable growth opportunities (e.g. new sales channels, competitive strategies, mergers & acquisitions, market expansion, and product diversification)
Ensuring legal compliance across the organisation

PERSON

We are looking for a CEO with demonstrable experience of running a retail ecommerce business, delivering YOY bottom-line growth.

Must haves:

Experience in a CEO or senior leadership level role
Previous success at devising and implementing company strategy
Experience in scaling a similar sized business (£5m to £15m)
Related industry experience - Retail, with ecommerce and showroom sales to the public and trade e.g bathrooms, kitchens / sofas / plumbing / electrical / furnishings / carpets / tiles / etc.
Experience in building, developing and managing high performing teams of circa 30+ staff
Desirables:

Has sourced and set up new office locations
Experience of buyer-side mergers and acquisitions
