Full Stack Web Developer (ROR)

Key Requirements:

• Backend Development: Expertise in either Ruby on Rails (RoR) or Node.js/Express is essential. The ideal candidate should be open to working with both technologies as needed.
• Frontend Development: Strong proficiency in frontend technologies is a must. We primarily use React, Next.js, or even HTML/CSS/JavaScript will be highly valued.
• Database Management: Solid understanding of database systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL. We use MySQL extensively, so you should be capable of creating dashboards, optimizing queries, and identifying bottlenecks independently.
• Version Control & Containerization: Proficiency in Git and Docker is required. You should be comfortable using these tools daily with minimal supervision.
• Cloud Platforms: A decent understanding of AWS, Azure, or any other cloud platform is necessary.
• Linux/Unix Command Line: Comfort with the Linux/Unix command line is important. While you don’t need to be an expert, a good working knowledge is required to accomplish tasks efficiently.
• Problem-Solving & API Design: Strong problem-solving skills and a good understanding of RESTful API design are critical for success in this role.
• Concurrency & Multi-threading: Basic understanding of multi-threading and concurrency related concepts.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with in-memory databases like Redis or Memcached.
