Product Designer (UI & UX) - Mobile & Web Apps

Mandate: Prior experience working on Mobile Applications (consumer applications with more than 1Million+ users) and product lifecycle is a mandate.

Experience: 3 plus years of experience in product design and management and 1 plus years of experience in software engineering.

Job Description:
• Hands-on delivery of detailed requirements specification from low fidelity wireframes for easy consumption by design and engineering to defining Epics, User stories and reporting Bugs.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design ideas
• Develop detailed product designs, including user interfaces (UI), user experiences (UX), and visual aesthetics.
• Define the product strategy and roadmap.
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs through continuous market research and analysis.
• Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the product strategy.
• Leads multiple inter-dependent work-streams in building a scalable product.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
• Engage closely with the cross functional teams Business Development, Member Services, Design, Engineering etc. to develop products & features.
• Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to product success and financial performance.
• SaaS experience is an added advantage.

Requirements:
•Proficiency in design software (Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
•Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
•Knowledge of prototyping and wireframing tools.
•Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, and color theory.
•Ability to create compelling and user-friendly interfaces.
• Proven experience in product designer role, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products through their lifecycle.
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Suggest improvements to monitoring, system reliability or other factors impacting customer platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job.
• Self-directed with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically; attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of market trends, industry dynamics, and emerging technologies.
• Translate high level requirements into product features. Create work items in stories in backlog. Develop user stories from solution architect’s design and customer requirements. Work closely with engineering and QA to validate that the work item meets acceptance criteria.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on product-based companies focussed on mobile apps is a plus.
