Role Overview
As a Product Analyst at Qbrics Inc., you will play a critical role in the product development process by bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements. You will be responsible for generating key documents such as Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs). Your work will ensure that our products are developed in alignment with business goals and meet user expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including product managers, business teams, and engineering, to gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including PRDs, BRDs, FRDs, and use cases, to guide product development and ensure clarity across all teams.
Process Mapping: Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, and systems, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are understood and properly implemented.
Data Analysis: Analyze product performance data and user feedback to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for product improvement.
Support Product Development: Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure that requirements are accurately translated into actionable development tasks.
Testing and Validation: Assist in the creation of test cases and participate in product testing to ensure that developed features meet the specified requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of product management processes, documentation standards, and tools.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a tech or software development environment.
Documentation Skills: Proven experience in creating PRDs, BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and other requirement documentation.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) is a plus.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
