UI Tester

Role overview
Looking for an experienced & passionate User Interface Tester who has a proven expertise in testing Web and Mobile apps for pixel-perfect User Interface & User Experience.

Job Description

• Working with the design and product team to understand the Functional requirements and develop a test strategy.
• Testing all visual indicators and graphical icons, including menus, radio buttons, text boxes, checkboxes, toolbars, colors, fonts, and more
• Testing for Visual Design, Functionality, Usability, performance and compliance
• Executing the test cases via manual and automated methods, recording results and suggesting adequate changes to ensure that the user experience is seamless
• Execute tests within stipulated timelines
• Research and understand the domain, features and functionalities
• Checking how the application handles user actions carried out using the keyboard, mouse, and other input devices and whether visual elements are displayed and working correctly.
• Ensuring that applications meet their functional requirements and that end-users will successfully adopt them.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in testing both Web and Mobile apps.
Strong experience in testing responsive websites for pixel-perfect UI & UX.
Experience in OS, Browser, and Device compatibility testing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of Agile methodology and Sprint cycles. Preferably worked in an agile environment in the past.
Good understanding of test case preparation, test execution, defect identification, and working with the team to rectify defects.
Good verbal and written communication skills. Documentation should be second nature.
