AI Assistant for Research using state of the art language models (ChatGPT for Research). We're using language models to automate and streamline research workflows from start to finish. And the best part? And with almost weekly feature launches since our inception, we're constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, empathetic, passionate about helping others, can communicate effectively with diverse groups and has a desire to build a positive relationship with our users. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer who can contribute to our product, take on impossible challenges and change the game. An opportunity for big impact and lots of ownership. We're looking for someone self-driven who thrives in the very early stages of a company.

Connect our machine learning code to databases, and the databases to our front-end. Our machine learning engineers and leadership use this stack to schedule, launch, monitor, track and debug experiments, jobs and models.

Work on the platform of tools and infrastructure of whatever the machine learning team needs to be effective. This spans a wide scope: from machine learning code in Python to back-end and front-end work in JavaScript.

Coordinate required hardware resources with the team, managing cluster hardware to maintain high availability.

Work directly with the machine learning team to understand requirements and priorities.

As one of our early hires, you’ll shape our practice, bringing your technical leadership, experience, and knowledge of best practices to establish a strong engineering culture.

🧑‍🎓 Qualifications
Strong software engineering foundations and a desire to apply those skills to make other engineers more productive.

BS/MS in Computer Science or the equivalent in experience, with evidence of exceptional ability.

Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Svelte, React, NPM tools.

UI and graphic design sensibilities.

Interest in machine learning, computer vision or neural networks.

Must be willing to constantly learn new things.

Passionate about joining a small team and building a company.

Experience working with large computer clusters.

Knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, or neural networks is a plus.

You've worked at a startup before.

A history of working on side/hobby projects and contributing to open source projects is a plus.
