  • Industrial Controls: Integrate and validate industrial control systems, including PLCs and automation components, to ensure they operate efficiently within the composting machinery.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Work with the supply chain team to manage the sourcing, procurement, and integration of mechanical and control components. Ensure that all parts and materials meet project specifications, cost constraints, and delivery timelines.
  • Process Integration: Develop and implement processes to integrate new products into existing manufacturing systems, optimizing production efficiency and minimizing disruptions.
  • Testing and Validation: Supervise the testing and validation of new composting machines, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation related to NPI projects, including mechanical design specifications, control system configurations, and production guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product launches and address any issues that arise during the NPI phase.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in NPI processes by incorporating feedback from initial production runs and performance data.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in NPI engineering, with a focus on industrial machinery, mechanical engineering, and industrial controls.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, industrial control systems, and automation technologies.
  • Experience with PLC programming and integration.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management and procurement processes.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing NPI projects, with a track record of successful product launches and process integrations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
