About the job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The RF Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing RF systems, components, and subsystems for various aerospace and defense applications. This role requires a deep understanding of RF principles, hands-on experience in RF circuit design, and the ability to work on complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. RF System Design: Design, simulate, and implement RF systems, including antennas, filters, amplifiers, oscillators, and other RF components.
2. Circuit Design and Development: Develop and optimize RF circuits for radar, communication systems, and other defense-related applications.
3. Testing and Validation: Conduct RF testing, characterization, and validation of components and systems to ensure performance meets design specifications and standards.
4. Integration: Work closely with other engineering teams to integrate RF systems with other subsystems, including digital and analog electronics, software, and mechanical components.
5. Prototyping: Build and test prototypes of RF circuits and systems, and iteratively improve designs based on test results.
6. Simulation and Analysis: Utilize simulation tools (such as HFSS, ADS, CST, or similar) to model and analyze RF systems and components.
7. Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
8. Compliance: Ensure RF systems comply with relevant military standards (MIL-STD) and industry regulations.
9. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project milestones.
10. Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest RF technologies and trends to drive innovation within the company.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on RF/Microwave engineering.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in RF design and development, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
3. Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in RF circuit design, including passive and active components.
* Experience with RF simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, CST).
* Strong knowledge of RF measurement techniques and equipment
* Familiarity with radar systems, communication systems, or SATCOM is desirable.
* Understanding of antenna design and propagation theory.
Additional Requirements:
1. Knowledge of military standards and compliance requirements (MIL-STD).
2. Ability to obtain security clearance (if required).
Benefits:
1. Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
2. Comprehensive health insurance coverage.
3. Opportunities for professional growth and development.
4. Access to cutting-edge technology and resources.
5. Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
