🏔️The challenge: what you will be working on

As our lead founding engineer,

1. Work with founders to:
2. Understand the core problems CarbonCopies solves, our ICP, our value proposition, the current platform, and roadmap
3. Figure out minimum viable/lovable platform to align with the business roadmap
4. Design and develop full-stack platform independently

5. Evaluate and experiment with multi-agent structures, RAG, and prompt tuning

6. You'll have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and leave your mark on the products. You'll not only build but also shape the technical direction of CarbonCopies AI

7. You'll have the opportunity to step into leading a team of passionate engineers

8. You'll be a strategic partner, helping us navigate the challenges and opportunities of scaling an AI-driven product. Including engaging with early customers to gather feedback and iterate on the product to meet market needs.

💡What we are looking for:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of building innovative, scalable solutions
• Show strong ownership by taking initiatives and challenging status quo with insights
• Proven experience building in a 0-1 environment
• Experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on backend and automation technologies (experience with web and app automation tools Selenium or Playwright)
• Ideally, you are already tinkering with agentic AI projects
• Some understanding of end-to-end testing frameworks, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Thrive in a fast-paced, lean startup environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

⚙️Current (/preferred) tech stack:

• Frontend: React.js (also open to Next.js, React Native)
• Backend: Python (also open to Node.js/NestJS or Go)
• Some proficiency with devOps deployment to AWS/GCP
• Some experience with web or app drivers like Playwright or Selenium or Appium
