Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Front-End Engineer to join our growing team. As a Front-End Engineer at Seam, you will be responsible for translating the vision of our product team into a seamless, user-friendly interface that our customers love to use. You will work closely with designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to build and enhance our platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
• UI/UX Implementation: Translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive, high-quality front-end code.
• Development: Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using modern front-end technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Optimization: Optimize the performance of web pages to ensure fast load times and smooth user experiences across various devices and browsers.
• Testing: Implement and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the stability and reliability of the front-end codebase.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in front-end development and bring new ideas to the table to enhance the user experience and streamline our processes.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for front-end code and processes to ensure scalability and ease of understanding for future developers.
Requirements:
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Languages: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Tools: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel), and package managers (e.g., npm, Yarn).
• Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design principles and experience building applications that work seamlessly across multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Testing: Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating high-quality user experiences.
• Bonus: Experience with WebSockets, real-time data visualization, or experience in optimizing front-end performance for large-scale applications.
