Salary Range: Based on experience
Job Summary: As RYSE’s Deductions Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support RYSE’s finance department by investigating, resolving, and documenting potential cash and discount discrepancies in accordance with the department’s policies and procedures regarding deductions management.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, compile, research, and process deductions submitted by vendors or internal teams
Validate and enter deductions into appropriate A/R systems in compliance with department protocols
Reconcile, investigate, and resolve deductions claim disputes and discrepancies
Gather and evaluate supporting documentation for recognizing deductions such as invoices, proof of delivery, bill of ladings, etc.
Interface with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, customers, and other relevant parties as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Education and Requirements:
Experience in an A/R specialist or deductions specialist role
Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry (CPG)
Experience using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
Experience using Oracle’s NetSuite applications
Standout Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Strong organizational and time-management skills showcasing a meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
