Senior Backend Engineer

Position Overview:
You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure for our blockchain-based applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, blockchain experts, and product managers, to create secure, scalable, and efficient solutions that harness the potential of p2p networks and cryptographic proofs.

**Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain backend systems for blockchain-based applications.
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide input in designing scalable distributed systems.
• Develop RESTful APIs and other backend services to facilitate communication between frontend interfaces and blockchain networks.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data stored on the blockchain through proper encryption and access control mechanisms.
• Optimize and scale backend systems to handle high transaction volumes and provide a seamless user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and integrate relevant improvements into the development process.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues, collaborating with the team to ensure timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs.
• Contribute to the creation and execution of test cases to ensure the reliability and performance of backend systems.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and share innovative ideas to enhance our blockchain solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with at least 2 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, or Go.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts, cryptocurrencies, and smart contracts.
• Experience with Ethereum and ZkEVMs is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Solid understanding of databases, data structures, and SQL.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies.
