We are looking for a talented DevOps and Backend Developer to join our team, where you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining robust backend systems and ensuring the seamless operation of our trading platforms.

Role Overview:

As a DevOps and Backend Developer at Kuber Inc., you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our AWS infrastructure, developing and maintaining backend systems using Python frameworks like Django and FastAPI, and ensuring database integrity and performance. You will work closely with our engineering and trading teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• AWS Infrastructure Management:

  • Set up, monitor, and optimize EC2 instances, S3 storage, and SNS/SES services.
  • Implement auto-scaling and load balancing strategies to ensure high availability and performance.

• Backend Development:

  • Develop and maintain backend systems using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
  • Design and implement APIs for seamless integration with frontend and other services.

• Database Management:

  • Manage and optimize databases using AWS RDS and NoSQL solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and backup strategies are in place.

• Version Control:

  • Use Git and Bitbucket for version control and collaboration within the development team.
  • Write clear, readable, and maintainable code with proper documentation.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and trading teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of features.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings to contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, SNS/SES, scaling, and load balancing.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django and FastAPI frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with database management, including RDS and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git and Bitbucket.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the fintech or algorithmic trading industry.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
