EquityList is trusted by 400+ companies to manage their cap table and stock option workflows and compliances. Our comprehensive and feature-packed platform allows our customers to manage and administer equity grants (ESOP, SAR, RSU, RSA) seamlessly and at scale.
This dynamic role will allow you to liaise with our product and operations team to enhance accounting reports for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to work on IND AS and IFRS-based ESOP/SAR accounting and disclosures for EquityList customers.
Moreover, you’ll assist our customers seeking valuation reports from Registered Valuers, Merchant Bankers, or work on Black-Scholes models for option valuations.
You are someone who has:
- Strong understanding of financial modeling/statement and equity valuation techniques.
- 3-5 years of professional experience within the equity compensation domain.
- Worked with companies to compute accounting expense reports and disclosures for equity compensation plans. ESOPs, SAR, RSUs and RSA.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of IND AS 15 & 102 and IFRS standards and disclosures.
- Working knowledge of SEBI regulations like LODR, ICDR, SBEB & SE.
- Strong grasp of the Companies Act and Rules relating to the issue of capital, board, and general meetings.
- Worked with ESOP Trusts before and can generate Trust financials (P&L).
- Understand equity-based taxations primarily for Indian companies with a keen interest in other markets such as the US, Singapore, MENA, etc.
Your Responsibilities at EquityList:
- Point of contact for technicality on IND AS 15 & 102, IFRS, and US GAAP.
- Work with EquityList’s product team in developing Accounting and Expense report formats for our customers.
- Address customer inquiries and provide documentation that supports valuation methodologies and assumptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate management reporting.
- Generate ESOP Trust financial statements (accounting for allotment, expenses, etc).
- Work with EquityList’s engineering team for bug fixes and new feature development.
Qualification Requirement:
- UG/PG: Chartered Accountant
- CPA/ CFA Charterholder is preferable.
- LLB will be a plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc).
- Strong verbal and written communication.
