*Senior QA Engineer (Manual and Automation Testing) *

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our
dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and
automation testing, with a proven track record of ensuring the quality and reliability
of software applications.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the
software development life cycle by designing, implementing, and executing test plans,
as well as contributing to the automation framework.

Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Strategy:
   • Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and provide input on testing strategies.
2. Manual Testing:
   • Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure product stability.
   • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and edge cases.
   • Collaborate with developers to understand and reproduce reported issues.
3. Automation Testing:
   • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency.
   • Implement and enhance the automation framework to support continuous integration and delivery.
   • Execute and monitor automated test suites and analyze results.
4. Quality Assurance:
   • Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and identify potential areas of improvement.
   • Work closely with development teams to promote a culture of quality throughout the software development process.
   • Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and work towards their resolution.
5. Documentation:
   • Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and organized manner.
   • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing documentation and knowledge base.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
3. Strong proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
4. Solid understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with performance testing and security testing.
2. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
3. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
