SuperTokens builds open-source user authentication. For developers building apps that want users to be able to sign up for the app, they have to build the signup page and other user authentication functionality. SuperTokens offers that out of the box. We enable developers to focus on their core product and integrate user authentication in under 1 hour.
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 salary + bonus ($70-$80K OTE).
We are looking for someone to grow into the role of AE in 6-12 months.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at SuperTokens, you will play a key role in driving our growth by identifying and nurturing potential business opportunities, building strong relationships with prospects, and supporting the sales team to convert leads into customers. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a passion for technology, security, and excellent communication skills, particularly in phone calls and email writing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including social media, online databases, industry events, and referrals.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-quality leads by engaging with prospects via phone, email, and other communication platforms.
Prospect Engagement:
Initiate contact with potential clients to introduce SuperTokens’ products and services.
Conduct needs assessments to understand prospects' business challenges and identify how our solutions can address their needs.
Qualify leads to determine their potential as sales opportunities.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing product information, and setting up meetings or product demonstrations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and support the sales process.
Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and outreach strategies based on market feedback.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and progress in the CRM system.
Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and conversion rates.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the technology or security sector.
Strong understanding of authentication solutions and their applications in various industries.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to conduct engaging phone calls.
Exceptional written communication skills, with a focus on crafting effective and persuasive emails.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
