DevOps Engineer at rootPe

Rootpe is seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have experience in both DevOps and Backend practices. This role requires a deep understanding of server-side technologies, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and scalability
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Implement security best practices and data protection measures
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Write and maintain technical documentation

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Backend development and DevOps
• Strong proficiency in server-side languages such as GoLang or Java
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficient in using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
