Senior Devops Engineer

We urgently require a Senior DevOps Engineer (5+ yrs of exp).

Responsibilities:

• IT Infrastructure Planning & Execution in AWS.
• Sysadmin functions in a Linux infrastructure.
• Networking functions in AWS infrastructure
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
• Participate in Onboarding new clients on the platform.
• Testing and examining code written by the Dev team and analysing results.
• Identifying system issues and developing software updates and ‘fixes’.
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
• Ensuring smooth operation of the plant by setting up required monitoring of critical applications.
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with senior client stakeholders..
• Operating in a low ego, collaborative environment.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills:

• 7+ years of proven experience in a DevOps role.
• 5+ years of proven experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Cloud Watch, AutoScaling, Auto Backup, AMI, Load Balancers, VPC etc.)
• Good networking skills and experience setting up IPsec VPN tunnels.
• Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.
• Proficient with Unix/Linux (Linux Shell scripting) and Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience in building and administering VMs
• Ability to understand and develop CI/CD pipelines for automation
• Experience working with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Dockers and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB/Redis
• Experience working with GIT
• Good documentation skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Exposure to Electronic Trading technology would be a big plus.
