Aeroplicity is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Full Stack Developer to work with our team. Reporting directly to the CTO, this individual will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a compliance-driven market and contribute to a platform with the potential to lower the bar of entry into the aerospace and defense industry and help the Department of Defense’s (DoD) supply chain. If you're eager to learn, passionate about technology, and looking to make an impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are seeking true student patriots to help us contribute to the defense of our country.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Architect, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions using Ruby on Rails, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Frontend Development: Design and implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular, crafting a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Integration: Collaborate closely with the team to merge user-centric UI elements with server-side logic, ensuring harmonious interactions between frontend and backend components.
• Security Protocols: Acquire a thorough understanding and implementation of security and data protection best practices and how they relate to various compliance regimes (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and more), safeguarding our platform and our customer’s IP while maintaining compliance.
• Blockchain: Actively contribute to our Hyperledger Fabric infrastructure, furthering the company's innovative stride in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Cloud Deployment & Monitoring: Utilize AWS services to deploy, monitor, and dynamically scale applications, ensuring optimum performance and uptime.
• Coding Standards: Commit to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and company standards.
• Code Review: Engage in regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and continuously enhancing the quality of the platform.
• Troubleshooting: Proactively identify, debug, and upgrade existing software components, ensuring our users enjoy a bug-free and evolving platform.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work together with our team and our users to conceptualize, define, and ship innovative features that elevate our platform's value proposition.
• Version Control with GIT: Demonstrate proficiency in using GIT for source code management. Create, manage, and merge feature or bugfix branches, ensuring streamlined and conflict-free code integrations.
• Ownership: Take full ownership of assigned tasks and projects from inception to completion, driving initiatives with a sense of purpose and accountability.
• Aerospace & Defense Acumen: Invest time in learning and understanding aerospace and defense industry requirements and standards (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and more). This foundational knowledge is crucial for developing solutions that align with aerospace and defense industry-specific needs and regulations.

Technical Skills & Qualifications
