WorldClass is an adaptive learning app that solves the retention and completion problem of online learning by using AI to make learning a more engaging and valuable experience.
We have launched a beta app and have had some great feedback. We are now looking to release a paid version and focus on finding product market fit.
We are looking for a strong mobile engineer to join our founding team. This is an equity only position although a small salary can be discussed.
As the ideal candidate, you are passionate about building cutting edge, innovative solutions and reaching millions of users across the world with your work.
About you:
- You have a breadth of experience in building, launching and scaling mobile apps.
- You are a self-starter (very important), determined, high energy and enthusiastic in your approach to delivering results.
- You have experience as a founding engineer or engineering lead in a fast-paced startup environment.
*Required experience: *
- 5+ years React Native development
- 5+ years Django
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning, LLMs, RAG and Vector DBs
- Scaling solutions beyond 100,000 users
- Leading CI/CD and DevOps and making sure to follow the best practices while maintaining speed of development
- Experience with sharing technology and codebase between iOS and Android, particularly in-app infrastructure.
