Role Description

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Clout Kitchen in Los Angeles, you will spearhead the development of our flagship product, Backseat AI, within a flexible hybrid work structure. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will be crucial in crafting high-performance, scalable web applications. This role involves designing robust solutions and optimizing systems for real-time interactions..

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, robust, and high-performance systems using Next.js, TypeScript, and other modern technologies.
• Lead the integration/maintenance of backend services with Postgresql, Redis, and other databases and caching solutions.
• Design and implement effective APIs using technologies like TRPC and Drizzle, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
• Craft and maintain state management architectures using Redux, optimizing data handling and UI responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into the design and overall architecture of our systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong understanding of frontend and backend technologies.
• Proficient in Next.js, TypeScript, Redux, TRPC, Drizzle, Postgresql, and Redis.
• Strong experience with database design, scaling, and management in both SQL and NoSQL environments.
• Expertise in building and consuming APIs.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
