Position Summary:
The Data Integration Manager works directly with internal and external clients to identify business requirements for large and small-scale technical database projects. This includes securing, managing and documenting processes and data feeds to be integrated in to LionShare’s proprietary DIATA database systems. This position is also responsible for working with the data processors, coordinators and programmers to meet project and database refresh deadlines. The Data Integration Manager reports to the Director of DIATA Services.
Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements to manage Business Rule Documents (BRD’s), Assumptions Documents, Interface Agreements (IA’s) and Project Status Reports.
•Attend client meetings regularly as the main technical contact.
•Work with Client Services to create estimates and manage overall technical implementation of projects.
•Work with Client Services and client/vendor partners to procure data.
•Develop and implement new processes to increase communication and efficiency in project details and goals.
•Audit data and logic elements to ensure data is ready for databases based on requirements.
•Approve interfaces and functions to export, transform, and load data (ETL processes).
•Resolve integration issues and coordinate action steps among users, clients and vendor partners.
•Oversee database refresh schedules.
•Assist in integration processes, training, and tools to further automate processes.
•Be the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on project environments for assigned clients.
•Conduct interviews and document the flow of all incoming data, required segmentation and data pull for each campaign.
•Keep abreast of industry technical trends and new development.
•Participate in onboarding and annual HIPAA training on security policies and procedures. This position has access to ePHI.
Skills, experiences and qualifications required for the position:
•Five years of project management experience, preferably with CRM databases.
•Excellent Microsoft Excel experience.
•Preferred experience with SQL, Alterian, Oracle, etc.
•Well versed in data interfaces and data feeds.
•Exceptional problem-solving ability to troubleshoot issues.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to develop and document procedures.
•High attention to detail.
•Ability to multi-task.
•Ability to work under stringent deadlines without compromising on quality.
•Willingness to learn the healthcare industry and terminology.
•Team player.
