As a corporate venture studio, we act as an institutional cofounder by proactively investing in and building ventures from an initial idea stage. We create new ventures from zero, with the goals of achieving product-market fit, growing profitable new businesses, and delivering outsized returns on investment. As a Venture Marketer at FLP, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and user acquisition across all of our ventures. You will develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance our presence in the market and engage our target audience effectively across multiple channels. You will be responsible for meeting marketing metrics that align with our venture objectives, and working closely with product and venture teams to align campaigns with product roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for our ventures.
- Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and content marketing.
- Run tests to measure user response Work with venture teams and agencies to deliver business results.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and customer support teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize marketing efforts and achieve KPIs.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in creating and executing marketing strategies in startups.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices, with hands-on experience in managing effective user acquisition campaigns.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop compelling marketing content and campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and agencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating within multicultural teams.
- Experience in marketing to countries outside of Japan is a big plus.
- Proficient in Japanese and English, with fluency in one language and business-level proficiency in the other.
