Job Description
Softdrive is looking for a rockstar Sales Engineer with an extensive background in deep-tech startups selling to SMB & enterprise organizations. The ideal candidate is an established and well-connected sales star within the VDI space who is passionate about sales and windows technology, while having the written and verbal skills to listen and communicate.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-faceted prospecting plan to generate new business pipelines. They will also be responsible for sales activities that include meeting with prospects, preparing and presenting proposals, developing sales and marketing artifacts, and contributing to marketing campaigns
Responsibilities
- Build revenue growth and profitability in the Virtual Desktop workstream
- Ideate and develop milestones with IT buyer for tiered growth
- Promote the value of the product through outbound campaigns
- Develop and nurture new business pipelines
- Assist in creating educational materials
- Meet Sales & Marketing activity goals and standards, specifically as they relate to documentation and management of prospect lists and managing sales opportunities using required customer relationship management systems, like HubSpot Sales
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience in a deeptech startup company.
- Ideally in the Virtual Desktop space
- Technical skills: Fluent with Windows or Linux
- This person must be a problem solver – a consultative advisor who seeks to understand the customer’s business objectives and have the skills to uncover solutions where IT processes and systems can become a strategic enabler for the client
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
- Accountability and personal organization are essential
- Experience in managing a diverse group and training each according to company standards
Salary $50-$85k + Uncapped Commision
